Long Fibre Paper

Long Fibre Papers can be found in a whole set of applications:

          Tea filter paper

          Coffee filter paper

          Filter industry

          Substrate for tape production

          Battery production

          Packing (food and industry)

          Wiping cloths in dust free environments

          etc....

The weight per m² available covers 9 to 30 g/m².

 

Teabag paper

Non-heat-sealable paper (* NHS)

The wide-spread double chamber bags need paper with a very good wet and crimping strength preventing the teabag to burst in hot water.

Our paper can be processed on all tea-packing machines. We also offer special qualities, which take into account the specifics of the various machine types and achieve a higher quality of the teabags.

We supply the NHS paper in general pre-humidified. You can process the coils directly, without having to store them first in a humidification room.

In the production process only natural fibres are used.

Heat-sealable paper (* HS)

Beside the double chamber bags, there are also sealed teabags to be found worldwide.
The thermoplastic fibres used reach a very good sealing. Various forms and sizes of bags can be manufactured including the chain bags for large packing.

A speciality from Purico is Superseal ^® (* SS), reaching the highest requirements of seal strength.

Both HS, and SS can be supplied in plain or apertured qualities.
